Jack invests in early-stage companies building critical infrastructure for financial services, enterprise software, and defence. His transactional background across buyouts, growth equity, and add-on acquisitions on both sides of the Atlantic gives him an operational lens that goes deeper than most early-stage investors.

Jack focuses on early-stage fintech infrastructure, B2B software, AI, and defence tech at HV Capital's London office. Before venture, he spent three years at Battery Ventures on the Industrial Technology and Life Science Tools team across the US and UK, sitting on three boards as observer and executing over ten platform and add-on acquisitions. Prior to that, he sourced and diligenced private equity co-investments at Cambridge Associates in Boston, with earlier stints at Atlantic Bridge in Dublin and UBS Private Wealth Management.

He holds a BCom from University College Cork and an MSc in Finance from UCD Smurfit, where he served as class ambassador. At university he combined a love of music with DJing and organising festivals. Today, endurance sports keep him honest: there's always a marathon on the calendar, alongside rugby, golf, skiing, and sailing.
