Shannon Storch will tell you that development is not linear: From Boca Raton, Florida to Portland, Oregon, her Bachelor’s in Communications led her to a career in teaching before a stint in PR introduced her to a flair for marketing. These were the stepping stones that brought Shannon to Berlin to pursue a Master's in Digital Marketing and Public Relations—where her career took another thrilling turn.

Joining HV Capital as a working student during her postgraduate studies, Shannon had her first experience in venture capital where she learned about the world of startups, venture capital, and the process of how companies are shaped from the ground up. After her studies, Shannon joined Jägermeister’s corporate venture arm, Best Nights VC, as Communications and Community Manager, where she led events and community-building initiatives. After half a decade in PR and marketing, Shannon brought her accumulated startup marketing experience back to HV Capital.

Shannon is driven by a deep interest in consumer psychology, particularly in the areas of branding and brand perception. She brings to the HV Capital portfolio her passion for community-building through events that foster authentic connections and meaningful exchanges.
