Born abroad and raised in Germany, Tian-Gu grew up between two cultures. She had the opportunity to look at things from different perspectives from a very young age.

During her law studies at the University of Hamburg, Tian-Gu was already focusing on corporate law. Her interest continued to grow further, not just on the legal side but also the operational side of business.

Before HV, Tian-Gu worked as a lawyer at Milbank LLP. There, she focused on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions. She gained specific experience in private equity transactions. As part of her legal traineeship (Referendariat) and university studies, Tian-Gu gained professional experience in Hong Kong, New York, Bangladesh and Namibia.

In her spare time Tian-Gu enjoys traveling and sports.
