Founders who have lived the problem: The strongest companies in my portfolio were built by people who spent years inside the industry they're now transforming. That kind of depth produces products people genuinely love and businesses that are nearly impossible to replicate. It's the first thing I look for in every conversation.
Verticals others overlook
Construction. Logistics. Healthcare administration. Care documentation. Some of my best investments came from sectors most investors called too niche, too slow, or too unsexy. The more specific the vertical, the more interested I tend to be. Those are the markets where real willingness to pay meets almost no competition.
